Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.
These terms and conditions may change from time to time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site. You will be asked to read and accept the terms and conditions each time you place an order, to ensure that you are familiar with the most current ones.
Our Contract
You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until you click the Submit Order button.
After you submit an order we will give you details of the products you have ordered. Please note that e-mails are acknowledgements, not acceptances of your order.
Subject to the paragraph headed “IMPORTANT” underneath the “prices and payment” section below, acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract between us will only occur when we process your order. Alternatively we may decline all or part of your order for any reason.
When deciding whether or not to accept your order our specialist transaction processing service may use certain information about you, including any received from credit reference agency checks. In particular, Google Checkout, or another reputable web payment service, may pass your details to credit reference agencies for them to check against certain public and private databases. These records may be kept to use in future security checks. This helps to protect you and us against fraudulent transactions. Bedroomskies is not party to any of your private financial details
We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method.
Prices and Payment
All prices and charges on this site are in UK pounds unless specifically stated otherwise. Prices are shown net of VAT, with any Applicable VAT charge being shown separately in your order. Delivery charges are also excluded but shown separately on your invoice. (For details see ‘Delivery’ below).
The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order inclusive of any applicable sales tax or VAT, any additional services you choose, plus the applicable delivery charge.
Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order.
IMPORTANT: We try very hard to ensure that all information on this site is accurate. However, just occasionally, an error can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we may cancel your order at any time up to the point we send the product(s) to you (even if we have sent you an email confirming purchase). We will contact you where we become aware of an error and ask you whether you wish to continue with your order at the correct price or cancel it. If we do cancel your order you will receive a full refund of any charges paid in advance.
Customer Discount Offers ("Discounts")
As a small business we rely on the willingness of our customers to refer the product to others. In order to encourage this, the company has installed a programme enabling those who successfully recommend others to buy the product to benefit with a refund of £8 for every purchaser buying the product on the recommendation of a previous buyer.
All you have to do is recommend the product to a friend and when they purchase, they input your email address in the appropriate box.
The following conditions apply:
- In order for a recommendation refund to be made, the recommendee must input the email address of the recommender in the appropriate box on the Bedroomskies purchase order page.
- Failure to input the email address of the recommender by the recommendee will result in the recommender not receiving the credit for recommending the product.
- Purchasers successfully recommending the product to other purchasers will receive an email roughly three months after they purchased the product. This will detail the number of people who bought the product on their recommendation, a summary of the amount of refund that they can expect to receive and an outline of the steps that they need to take in order to be eligible for receipt of the refunds.
Other conditions
- Discounts are only valid until the date published.
- Discounts are ONLY redeemable for purchases made on this website (Bedroomskies.com)
- Only one refund may be generated per customer per transaction.
- We reserve the right to end any Discounts at any time including prior to the advertised end date without notice.
- Discount value cannot exceed the value of funds paid for the product or any directly related service, such as assembly or delivery.
- Successful recommendations can only be recorded for a period of 3 months after the purchaser purchased the product. Any purchases made after that period will not be recorded
Customer rewards for recommending to a friend
- This offer is only available for purchases made through our website.
- Participants may not receive more than the total purchase price paid originally for the product
- In order for participants of the referral scheme to receive payment for recommending the product to others, participants must acknowledge the nature and value of any planned payments in the form of an invoice. This acknowledgement will take place electronically. Purchasers wishing to benefit from a refund on the product must acknowledge that they are below the threshold for VAT registration.
- In order for a purchaser of the product to participate in the referral scheme, a valid and currently used email address must be input when giving your details prior to purchase.
This system will apply all over the world, should there be any overseas customers. Rebates and discount rates may vary slightly due to currency exchanges, but we will try to adhere closely to the same system as inside the UK. P&P are generally included, but may be charged separately if the purchaser resides outside the UK.
Exception. Due to limited resources we will only offer the refund facility once a minimum of two units have been successfully recommended by a previous customer.
Your Details
We will retain your email address and delivery address in order to contact you three months after your purchase. This will only occur if purchases have been made on your recommendation
We will not be party to other information, such as financial information. This information is dealt with by Google Checkout.
Method of payment
Google Checkout will give details of acceptable methods of payment.
Prices refer to the current price of goods sold by Bedroom Skies.
Where We Deliver
Delivery at prices stated must be to an address in the United Kingdom (some price variation may be experienced for those living in the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Anglesey, The Scilly Isles and the Scottish Islands). Please make sure you keep the receipts which will accompany your order.
We also deliver internationally to the USA, Canada and Europe, and an appropriate postage and packaging price will be quoted on your purchase summary and invoice.
Delivery Charges
These will be detailed on the purchase page,
Bedroomskies reserve the right to vary P&P charges.
Delivery dates will generally take a minimum of 5 working days. We will endeavour to bring this down.
Delivery Times
Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (but excluding Bank Holidays). If you order after 3.00pm, please calculate your delivery time as if your order had been placed the following working day. For next week day delivery (if available) please order before 10:00am.
Overseas delivery
Costs and delivery times may vary, but we endeavour to establish manufacturers within a reasonably close geographical area so as to cut down on these costs and delays.
IMPORTANT: We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified in this section. However, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control (e.g. problems obtaining authorisation for your payment) and therefore they cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
Please allow extra time for deliveries to Scottish islands.
Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive your product, please check that they have been despatched by contacting us. If your order is not en route to you, please e-mail us at orders@bedroomskies.com. In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or faulty, please follow the instructions in the delivery documents.
Faulty Goods
The following are guidelines. Wherever possible we will respond to your individual circumstances.
If there is a fault with your product on delivery (or other defect with your order), we will normally offer a prompt repair, exchange or refund. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault.
To qualify for a refund or exchange the product must be:
- In otherwise "as new" condition; and
- Complete with any accessories and free gifts offered with it and in original box and packaging.
This promise does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.
Any refund due to a fault or other defect does not include delivery charges with respect to discount offers.
To be valid, all notifications of damages have to be received by us within 25 working days of placing your order.
Directions for Faults and Returns
In the event that the goods delivered are faulty, customers are advised to return the product, together with all packaging to the address shown on the return section of the literature provided with the product. We will be happy to replace any faulty products, subject to the following conditions.
Upon receipt of the mural
Retrieve the literature giving details of the content of the packaging, return address and assembly instructions, among other details
Do not break the paper seal holding the rolled mural together.
Follow the instructions once you are happy that the correct number of sheets is included in the package.
Missing sheets
The product will be sealed with a paper tag. The customer should count the number of sheets rolled into the tube. In the event of the tube not having the stated number of sheets/rolls as stated in the literature supplied with the product, the customer should NOT tamper with the paper seal, should contact the company and send the entire product back to the company address as found in the accompanying literature.
Faulty sheets
If there are any faulty sheets in your in your pack, bedroom skies will be pleased to replace the offending item. Replacements will only be effected when the items in question are in pristine condition, without any paste or rips, etc. The entire product should be sent to our contact address.
Returns Policy
Your product must be complete and in 'as new' condition, e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or packaging. It must not have been used or installed. It should be returned with the original box, packing and accessories you received with it. Any 'Free Gifts' received with the product must also be returned.
If you follow the steps above you will receive a full refund of the product price and any delivery charge paid less any administration charges already incurred in the sale up to the date of cancellation. Cost allocation for any marketing applied on a pro rata basis per unit may also be charged to any refunded fees. Charges for collection of goods will also be recharged to any outstanding balances to be repaid.
We cannot cancel your purchase when:
- the seal has been broken on any relevant packaging as explained in the paragraph below or
- the goods were a special order to your specification.
While the goods are in your possession, you must take reasonable care of them and not use them. In order to claim a return or replacement for missing sheets the customer is not allowed to break the seal binding the sheets of the mural in its rolled up tubular shape. In the event the there are the correct number of sheets as stated in the delivery documentation, and subsequent investigation shows that there is a duplication of sheets, or that one, some or all of the sheets are faulty, then the consumer’s rights are not affected by the breaking of the aforementioned seal.

We, our Group companies and our suppliers own the copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal and non-commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited.
You may not create any link to this website without our prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of this website by anyone else. However if you are creating a link with the sole intention to recommend the product to friends then we are happy to forego these restrictions in such cases.
General
These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.
Your data protection rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.
Items sold on this website are intended for normal domestic and consumer use and are not intended for resale or commercial use. We reserve the right to refuse access to this website, to remove or edit content, or to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you, and we will reimburse any payment made by you.
Additional terms and conditions may apply for prize competitions, pre-release orders and our added value services and offers. If so, you will be alerted to them at the relevant juncture.
These terms and conditions only cover the Bedroomskies website. Any other websites to which you link from this site are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites which are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
